Like Tim mentioned we had a great gathering at his house with Lars doing all the cooking. We were able to repeat the occasion at Jane's house and again we had a splendid meal. Best of all Michaela got to open what seemed to me an endless amount of gifts. The concept of opening gifts is still foreign to Mariah, so she was content just being around all her adoring relatives. One of Michaela's favorite gifts was a giant Dora coloring book.
Today Michael took Barbara, Michaela, and Mariah into the city and we met at Peet's and also walked over to the Ferry Building for a nice lunch. They are still scouring the city and hopefully I can stay awake for another hour or so and finish my work so I can join them.
